Anime Review: Michiko to Hatchin

                          If you you like mother/daughter type anime this show is for you. Michiko to Hatchin

is an adventure/action type anime produced by studio Manglobe and its English dub produce by

Funimtion. The series focuses on the two protagonist Michicko Malandro a "sexy diva" who escapes

one of the countries inescapable prisons and rescues Hana Morenos (also known as Hatchin) from

her abusive adopted family. Even though both girls are complete opposites they go on a quest to find

their own happy ending.

  My opinion: What I like about this anime is that even though both protagonists are very complete

opposites of each other yet, throughout the series you see them start to truly care about and protect

one another as well as develop a mother/daughter relationship. I loved that their main goal was for

them to live a happy life with each other despite the hardships that they face.

Hotel Transylvania 2 and why you should watch it.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

                                                              The Vamp is back!     

                                     Well just got back from watching Hotel Transylvania 2 the first day it came 

out and I loved it!  The movie had a lot of laughable moments both children and adults will enjoy 

and viewers will get to see Mavis Dracula change from curious vampire teen to new wife and 

mother. You will also get to see Count Dracula new role as a grandfather or "vampa". You'll also  

 see all your favorite friendly monsters such as Werewolf, Frankenstein, Mummy and Invisible 

Man. This movie recommended by children and adults of all ages.

Code Geass: Akito The Exiled Epsiode 3 The Brightness Falls review (spoiler alerts)

So, I just finish watching Akito the Exiled; The Brightness Falls. Got to say this story is really coming together and you get to see more character development with Akito and the whole squadron. What I really like about the episode is the growing bond of the whole squadron including Akito and Leila as well as to why Akito is always distant and why he wants to kill his brother so badly. What i'm really curious is what kind of geass Leila as received from C.C and how will it help Akito in the future. Another thing I liked about this episode is that you get to see what happens with lelouch between R1 and R2 and his role in Europe as well as Suzako.

Few things im looking forward for episode 4:

1. Why does Shin want to kill Akito so badly
2. What is Leilas Geass?
3. What is Shins plan for Europe?
4. Will Leila and Akitos friendship go deeper?

Dark Horse Comics announce Legend of Korra comic release!

                     Well there you have it folks, the news we've been waiting for is here...LEGEND OF 

KORRA COMICS! During the first day of San Diego Comic Con 2015 the two creators better

known as Bryke announce that the company Dark Horse Comics will be releasing Legend Of

Korra comics a continuation of the series just like its Predecessors Avatar: The Last Air bender.  The

creators of  LOK  already confirm that they laready have the first three volumes of the comics

planned and that the relationship between Avatar Korra and Asami Sato will be more focused in the

comics. The comics will pick of from the aftermath of the series finale.

Finding Carter season 2 Recap, Review and Spoilers!

                       This season on MTV Finding Carter was a full of many shocking moments. At the beginning of the season we find Carter Wilson waking up after being drugged and kidnap again by Lori Stevens aka Carters kidnapper. Lori then goes forth with her next step in her plan by kidnapping Taylor Wilson Carter Stevens twin sister. When Taylor and the girls mother Elizabeth finally confront Lori with Carter in tow Lori reveals a shocking secret. Lori donated her eggs to Elizabeth because Elizabeth couldn't get pregnant a secret Elizabeth wanted to keep hidden from the girls until death. Because Lori thinks shes entitle to some parental rights being the girls "biological' mother Lori wants to take both girls. Her plan fails and is apprehended but not without letting another bombshell drop; Lori had an affair with David the girls father!
                                         
                 In this season not only do you see many dark secrets exposed but, you do get some nice heart warming moments as well.  One thing you will see is that Taylor and Carter have become close and their sister bond grows stronger despite obstacles. Carter and Elizabeth become closer to each other which strengthen in this season as well. In each episode you see Carter becoming more and more accepting her new life and blending in the Wilson household.

Digimon adventure Tri! After fifteen years!

Never in a million years did I think Digimon will make a comeback, Well here it is folks the original digi destines from Digimon Adventures are coming back in an all new series called Digimon Adventure Tri. The series takes place four years after the events of Digimon Adventure 02, the original cast seems like their in high school  ( in the trailers its mention that Taichi Yagami is 17 and a high school student). The original Digi destines will be make a comeback along with the original digimon (I don't know if the digi destines from Adventures 02 will make a comeback) but I do know is that they will some nostalgia that will bring any Digimon fan to tears. Rumor has it the episode will be 50 minutes long and their due to release in Spring or Summer of 2015.

I received products to try out and here my opinions on them.

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub: When you put on the product on your face it feels like you putting sand on But, once you wash it of your skin gets that clean feeling along with the sweet smell of apricot on your face.

Loreal Paris Advance system: For someone who has natural thick curly hair this product comes in handy. After using the last treatment I was able to straighten my hair with ease and it stayed straight for up to 48 hours.

Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun Tanning Mousse: This product really brought a natural tone on my skin. The only thing I didn't like was the smell to it.  Not to greasy and recommended it putting it on in a light layer.

Sour Punch Punchies and Rainbow Straws: What can I say this candy is by far very sour and makes your lips go into fish mode. Con about this candy is the bad after tastes.

Greys Anatomy season 11 review.

First, of all I got to say about this season is WOW! Between finding out that Maggie Pierce is Meredith's half sister and Richards daughter (that never knew existed) to a hospital without Yang to the most complicated surgery Amelia Shepherds has ever perform and lets not forget the most tragic and devastating event ever to happen in the history of the show...Derek Shepherd dies (RIP McDreamy)! This season really was all about Meredith and her dealing with many things without her "person". You get to see Grey forming a relationship with her sister Pierce, getting closer to her new person Alex and dealing and coping of the loss of her husband and having her third child without him. Here are some things you might want to think about for season 12.

1. Will Amelia and Owen finally become official?
2. Will Jackson and April marriage fall apart if April decides to go for another tour?
3. Will Bailey be the next Chief of Surgery for Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital?
4. Will Dr. Herman ever comeback to Grey Sloan?
5. Will season 12 be the last season for Grey's Anatomy?

Oak Tree Festival

You may see this event as another small town thing but to the people of Glendora this is so much  more. The Oak Tree festival hosted for over the past 36 years on the grounds of St Dorthys church has always been a big event to the people of this town. Hosted for three days on the month of May you get to see the many talented bands, fun carnival rides for all ages and the famous beer garden for adults just to sit, have a nice beer and just listen to all the incredible music from the bands. you even taste the food hosted from food business around the community. This little gem is the place to its a great kick off before Summer comes in.

                                            What is a thrifter you say? A thrifter is a person who goes to multiple second hand or vinatge stores looking for bargain,treasures and unusual items to buy at a very discounted price which is known as thrifting. As a thrifter myself, I can teach a beginner on how to pick on how she/he can make their thrifting experience an enjoyable one.
                                            When it comes to thrifting its all about locations. A good thrifter knows the best second hand stores are in communities that have a high upper class population. An upper class community tends to donate alot of items that are highly priced and valuable or items that are new or fairly used. Another, tip  for finding a second hand store in good locations is cities.  Cities with a high population have more second hand stores which gives thrifters more places to find bargains.
                                             A good thrifter knows where the bargains are. When it comes to thrifting, it is important to know the second hand stores you visit have sales or promotions. Some second hand stores have their own newsletter and if you sign up for them you get to know first hand when their are new bargains.A second tip to know when there are sales is becoming a regular. By visiting a second hand store more frequently you can get an idea when certain items go on sale
                                               Lastly, a good thrifter takes his/her time. Yes, most second hand stores have one of a kind items but, by taking your time looking through everything the store has to offer you may find something you're interested in. Take your time visiting other second hand stores and look what they have. Al second hand stores are different;you will never what your going to find.
                                              Becoming a thrifter does not happen over night. It takes a bit of practice to become a thrifter. By knowing about a good location, knowing the bargains and taking your time to know different stores your thrifting skills will in fact improve.Remember these skills and you will have a wonderful time thrifting. Akito the Exiled episode 3 Preview

 So, we finish with another episode of Akito The Exiled episode 2 "The Wyvern Divided " and we come to find out that not only is Akito under some kind of Geass that helps him in battle but we also confirm that Shin Hyuga is Akito's older brother (who also possses the power of Geass). At the very ending we see Suzaku Kururugi with the very brainwash Julius Kingsley aka Lelouch Vi Britannia. 

What we may see in Akito the Exiled episode 3 "The Brightness Falls".

                     From watching the preview we may see the following:

•  Why Akito wants to kill his bother so badly. It could explain how Shin received his Geass and how the two siblings separated.
• The Britannian empire using Lelouch as a strategist for fighting battles against the E.U
• How Leila became an orphan and how she received her Geass (maybe from C.C)
• If the group dresses as gypsy to go undercover?

Legend of Korra and Avatar franchise series Finale. (Book 4 Balance)

                 On December 19, 2014 fans say goodbye to not only their beloved character but a beloved television series as well. Legend of Korra Book 4 Balance told the story of Avatar Korra going through a difficult healing process from the traumatic events that took part in the season finale of Book 3. We see Korra trying to re-connect her self spiritually with Raava and trying to get back into the spirit world while trying to find a solution for the new power hungry dictaror and former head of security of the Metal Clan Kuvira. With the help of former Avatar team members Katara and Toph and an a past foe along with the new Team Avatar.

             Book four Balance discuss many challenges from dictatorship, PTSD, depression as well as sexual orientation. If you haven't watch the series final The legend of Korra broke history by portraying Korra and Asami as a Romantic couple. In the last scene of The Legend of Korra Avatar Korra goes on vacation with Asami Sato to the spirit world. The final moments shows Korra and Asami holding hands and looking at each other romantically while entering in the spirit world.  Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair Magazine describe the scene "the most subversive television event of the year" and that it "change the face of tv". It did however since the creators pushed the boundaries of any kids television in history.

              Ive been following this franchise since 2005 the very first day Avatar: The Last Airbender first aired "The boy in the Iceberg" and I watch this until the very end on December 19, 2014. Thank you Mike and Bryan for bringing to The Avatar series to life!
